Early Access Review What is CHKN? What can it do? Why am I playing it? And why IS CHKN fun? So, CHKN is a damn ingenious and fun Game that is still in the Early access phase. I spent about 20 Hours offline. Many review writers think it's a minecraft-like Game. I can't quite sign That like that. There may be a Few things in Common, but CHKN is going in a different Direction. At first Glance, this Game is reminiscent of "Spore" or "Impossible Creatures." This has to do with the fact that there is also a creature editor there, with Which you can create crazy Critters at your Whim-if you are in "Creative" fashion. Because the actual Game is contesting in Adventure mode. There you will be thrown as a little Adventurer on a big Island. On this one you have to try to survive and, with the Help of your one-, two-, three-, four-or five-legged (or much more Legs) Friends, to explore this Piece of Land. You have the Opportunity to put found animal parts together at will and thus make your new best Friend. These animal Limbs can either be found in (mostly guarded) OR eggs or you try to tame or murk off your Dream Monstrous with Food. If one has opted for the scrambled or "Ish do ' disch flat" variant, the poor Animal disintegrates into its Individual Parts. You should collect This and possibly build on your already existing monster or create a completely New One. In Adventure Mode, there is a certain Limit to the Number of your Creatures and the Amount of Limbs they can carry. But this Limit is increased in the course of your Journey by visiting misterious Temples scattered all over the Map and there ... Is there... Oh, be surprised. But there is also the Possibility, if you have chosen a nice Place, to build your own House. Of course, with cosy IKEA beds, Chests (to Store your Valuables) and a treadmill/sawmill to enslave your not so popular Critters. Yes, heard correctly: You can take advantage of your Mausosaurus, Hasehuhn or Dragon Sick For any Dirty work you don't want to do (or can't) do. They hunt for you, they cut down Trees and knock Stones broken. The Only thing you need to pay attention to is their Health Indicator and their Well-being (Hunger and Petting Units). I just Enjoy CHKN. I constantly have a fat Grin on my Face, because a new, still Hate-slidests-funny cigch hides behind every Corner and every Hill. There are still a few Bugs and some Things are not quite mature yet but this Game is worth buying from my Point of view. Above All, the Developers are really sympathetic, take care of the Community, listen to suggestions for Improvement And constantly bring Out updates. Only about the Multiplayer I can't say anything yet, I haven't been able to try it yet. Mfg
