One of my GOTYs, without a doubt. The writing alone would sell me on this game immediately, but it's also wrapped up in incredibly compelling (and deceptively intricate) gameplay systems that elevate the story's core themes. It's simply incredible.

Simple but inventive gameplay – use a stock of dice rolls to complete activities that vary in degrees of risk whilst managing constantly depleting daily Energy and your long-term Condition.

Incredible story and excellent writing. Citizen Sleeper presents you with a harsh reality and makes you understand humanity from many different people's perspective, who are all just trying to survive.
