About

StoryAfter the death of his mother, Tomoya Okazaki—a guarded delinquent student at Hikarizaka High School—struggles to not only make sense of the abusive relationship he has with his alcoholic father, but also find meaning in his life. While on his way to class one morning, he meets a mystifying girl named Nagisa. She is a delinquent like him, but only because she is repeating her senior year, unlike the perpetually tardy Okazaki. From their brief encounter, Nagisa decides they should be friends, and enlists Tomoya's help to revive the school drama club. Not being busy in any way, he decides to join in. Along the way, the two make friends with many other students and try to find both solace and belonging in their endeavors.New FeaturesHD Upgrade

CLANNAD reviews and comments

So, since I now have completely to 100% Thanks to Clannad after almost 150 hours, I have to get rid of my Thoughts here. First of all, anyone who is willing to read hours-filling English Texts (what you can see about my Playing Time ^ ^) gets here the most emotional and saddest Stories I have ever experienced! Clannad is a Visual Novel. To this end, you would like to explain briefly those who can't do much with this Term. German is called Bildroman, for example, And that's pretty much the Case. A UN is not a Game in the true Sense of The word, But rather an Interactive novel with many different Still images that are supposed to show the Setting in the Background and in the Foreground usually stands the person with whom you conduct the Conversation. The Only thing that exists as "Gameplay" is the Decisions you have to make from time to time. But these can be decided by the Course of History! So it is with Clannad, depending on the decisions you make, you get up to 12 different Ends in the first Part of the Game! So plenty of Reading material is taken care Of. Now why "do" that to yourself. I would say one should "do" to yourself if the Anime has not been enough for You and more of Tomoya and co. Want to experience. The Anime roughly sums up the most important thing, but this is really only scratched on the Surface when you consider that it takes about 10 times longer for the UN! If that should be the Case, then I'm just saying buys the UN right away, it's worth every Penny! Why she is so good, I am now trying to explain a little more. It always starts harmlessly and chearingly: You play Tomoya who is Third-grader at a High School. Along with his Friend Sunohara, he actually only Has Lounging and on his Mind. Only that does not remain the case. In the Course Of the School Year, depending on how you decide to know a wide variety of People who change their Lives Bit by bit. The more the Story progresses so more emotionally and also often becomes sad it usually becomes. This is partly due to the Texts that are so well written to the important Moment that they really affect you in the Heart. According to my Feeling, the right Words are really always met that they take you with you that you almost don't believe it. The Whole thing is supported by a really good Soundtrack that you can't hold on anymore. Yes, at the End of a Story Route I say, I mostly sat howling in front of the Screen. And that's not because I'm built close to the Water. All sorts of Western Stories touch me every now and then, but I can't remember ever having howled like this in the Waterfall before! And if it's not the first Part of the Game it manages to make you howl then just wait for the second Part "After Story." She puts the Crown on again! If you don't howl then, you don't have a Heart!!! No matter written enough, I recommend it to you Again and play this Game! Because at the End of it all, it is no longer Tears of Grief but rather of Joy. Because a Happy Ending it has, so much is said. The whole Hours with this UN was really an Experience for me! PS: To avoid you needlessly trying your Hand at making decisions, it's Best To use a Complete Solution right away. Because I tried for myself at the Beginning and if an important Decision was not made, you end up in the Main Menu and don't see the End. So to really save you a lot of Time, use them. It takes you long enough to watch the complete Game ^ ^
