I am a fan of the beat'em up 2D but for the blow I am very disappointed. The game is very messy and amateur.
Everything is bordélic, from scenario to gameplay. The different blows are poor, you easily lose sight of its character and-the worst-there is a latency between the time when the jump key is pressed and the time when the character actually jumps.
Only positive if you like metal: music.
Bored after 30 min I ask, and this for the first time, a refund.
Instead, test the Pearl of Fight'N rage and forget about this coffee crisis unless you want to make your own opinion with the demo of the game (which I should have downloaded before buying the full game!)

I like the beat'em ups so when I saw it on an offer, even though I didn't have much information about it, I didn't hesitate to buy it. What a mistake.
I will Not extend much with the details, rather this is a comment to leave my disgust and negative points ordenaditos to make it easy to read that have made me hate this game in 30 minutes.
~ The game does not let you breathe and in a game of sticking sticks is not good. It Does Not let you create a "strategy" of how to tackle the bad with what you end up opting to stay still and press a lot to the button because you see that at least so you hit more.
~ There Is An abuse of enemies that shoot and do very often ~ The attack range of the bad guys is usually longer than yours so you forget a fist fight.
~ The Management of your lives and energy bar is null. It Appeared GAME OVER after 20 minutes, losing a thousand lives and when I was quite frustrated and not very well why, so my frustration is double IN SUMMARY, is a bad beat'em up, I bought for 3 euros and Pico and I consider it a bad purchase.

http://thegg.net/reviews/coffee-crisis-pc-review-a-great-but-rather-short-16-bit-neo-rogue-beat-em-up/
Pros:
+ Tons of Streets of Rage, Double Dragon and Golden Axe vibes
+ Great 16-bit retro-like graphics
+ The soundtrack is freaking awesome! (Metal ftw! \m/)
+ The game is pretty darn cheap
+ Co-op is fun as hell
+ It’s extremely satisfying to beat-up aliens and old folks with the help of coffee
Cons:
– Coffee Crisis is a very short game
– There is no CPU option for Player 2
– Bugs and glitches (v1.0-1.6)
– The h igh difficulty level might be a turn off for some players
Gameplay: 3.5/5
Graphics: 3.5/5
Sound/music: 5/5
Controls: 5/5
Replay value: 3.5/5
Story: 3.5/5
Verdict: 4/5
Coffee Crisis may be a rather short beat-em-up experience, but since the game is anything but easy , and looks and feels like a mix of some of the best beat-em-up games from the 80s and 90s. I’m ready to look past that down-side, especially since the two-player co-op mode makes the game even more fun to play. So, all in all, Coffee Crisis is a really fun and challenging 16-bit neo-rogue beat-em-up.
