Controls

A+D or Left+Right Arrow keys to Move

W or Up Arrow key to Jump

Space or Enter to activate the Coin of Power

While activated the Coin will:

• Reveal Hidden Blocks!
• Make Secret Blocks Vanish!
• Player can Double Jump!

The Coin of Power must be destroyed! Can you journey to Mount Foom for this task?

Musings + Notes

This is my first time working with Godot, and I had a great time. I plan on continuing to learn the software to make new things!

I got an HTML5 export up and running, but it broke the final transition to the win screen, so had to disable the export. 😭

I had a lot of plans for this theme to parody the Lord of the Rings. The 'ring' would grant invisibility and access to the shadow realm. In my finished version, the hidden and secret blocks were the manifestation of the shadow realm, but enemies (and the need for invisibility) never made it into scope. Regardless, I had a lot of fun.
