Original version for the fifteenth Metroidvania Game Jam.
A little platforming game, where you explore a dungeon-like facility, armed with your Alchemy Gun! No combat, but has some fun exploration and is a little puzzling! It's a bit suspenseful with the small screensize and tight platforming.
Different colors have different effects on Reagent Blocks! Shoot or activate them to be able to proceed to new areas.
You can always cancel the reaction of all blocks on the screen if you get stuck, or need to use a different color to proceed.
Blue Alchemy bullets shoot fast, and turn Reagent Blocks solid.
Yellow Alchemy shoots an energy field around you, and is volatile, so when it comes in contact with a Reagent Block, its neighbors also transform. This color turns them into Rise Blocks, where you can rise through them like an elevator.
Green Alchemy bullets also shoot fast, but are volatile like yellow. These turn the blocks solid like blue, and set off a chain reaction.
Red Alchemy grants you full control of all blocks' solidity.
Try to find the White Star at the end, as fast as you can!
