Compendium (Amir Bayareh)

COMPENDIUM

Compendium is a platform-action videogame entry for the Cryptid Jam that focuses in mexican cryptozoology, pre hispanic folklore tales, rumors and urban legends. The game combines elements of platforming puzzles, meele and shooting combat mechanics.

                                                      STORY

In a village near Mexico City, an Acolyte tidies the chapel office, when suddenly a compendium falls from the book cabinet. The pages scatter around and some legends free themselves once again to cause trouble. Is up to the Acolyte to stop them and bring peace to the Earth once more. Only by gattering all the missing page pieces, the Acolyte will be able to capture them and use their powers to restore order.
