You have to watch 2 or 3 tutorial to play in multi but otherwise the game and super nice it is really not ugly for a game of 2002 and it takes pretty quickly in hand.

Classic! Best Strategy Game at the Time and still very good today. Realistic Mass Fights and a lot of Research and Upgrades make the Game exciting.

A big big comeback, much better than age of Empire in all its aspects, more thorough, endowed with neat graphics that do not age. Always a treat.

We were 4-5 to have bought it: we all have them annoying bugs, which prevented us from doing a part in multi... short, unplayable simply... on the other hand, it was useful since everyone passed on Cossack 3 as I had asked them to do:p

Cossacks Back to War is old but worth its Money. It still makes it fun to play today, and you often forget the Time you can look for the Singelplayer for Hours or spend hours in Multiplayer with your Friends, taking each other out of each other. It really is a Must have for anyone who loves this Series. But unfortunately I can't play it anymore because I get this bloeden (Direct Draw Init Failed) bug:/... If there is anyone who can help me, I:) rejoice. But still it remains one of my Favorite games and I'm already impatiently looking forward to Cossacks 3:D

Cossacks: Back to War is a Real-time strategy game and Stand Alone Addon from 2002 to Cossacks: European Wars. The Game principle is quite classic for the Time: We build a Base and produce Troops. Ideally, we massacre the Troops of AI before mercilessly spamming us dead with Hordes and Hordes. As Stand Alone, the Addon does not need the Base game, but is often sold as an Anthology. It does not contain a Campaign but a lot of Single Battle Cards with different Factions and historical Background. As a 2D Game, the Optics are still perfectly fine, though on reasonable modern Resolution a bit small (especially the Units). The Appeal with Cossacks remains the large Amounts of Troops that can be led into Battle, ideally formed with Officer, drummer, Etc. And actually every Player back then has sooner or later ignored the somewhat annoying Base construction in That regard that he refrained From extracting raw Materials and Using Cheat Got the Material to concentrate on basic Base building for Recruitment and Squad maintenance. It annoys animal when you are in Battle and suddenly your own Troops fall dead because you no longer have enough Food. Beautiful classic That every Strategy player has pulled at some point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SW2mAXyDEu8
