Crescent Coffee
About
Brissa Cruz is a shy college student who’s majorly nervous about her upcoming art exhibition. She’s also a werewolf living in the town of Innisburg, where paranormal beings are just your average citizens. To help her socialize more, her best friend gets her a part-time job at Crescent Coffee, a local cafe that caters to nocturnal clientele like vampires, demons, and witches. But will sparks fly between her and one of Crescent’s regulars? And will this new gig prepare her for the crowds at the art show, or will she crumble under the pressure?
Crescent Coffee is an otome visual novel about love, anxiety, and caffeine. It has 3 romance options of varying genders, and in the full version, will have 8 possible endings. The player’s choices will determine whether Brissa’s fairy tale ends with a happily ever after.
The demo was developed as an entry for NaNoRenO 2019, and the full version will be released soon!

21, Werewolf. A college student who works part-time at Crescent Coffee. Her old friend, Jaemin, got her the job to bring her out of her shell – she’s been painfully shy for her entire life. As a Visual Arts major, she finds it easier to express her feelings through her paintings than her words. Go-to order: small green tea with honey.
Jaemin Ju21, Vampire. A longtime Crescent Coffee barista who has known Brissa since high school. He dropped out of college and doesn’t know where his life is headed. Though he can be very sweet to his friends, he's normally quite grouchy and talks smack about annoying customers. Go-to order: extra-large black coffee with a blood shot.
Nicky Pendle23, Witch. A longtime Crescent regular who works as a chemist. They have a bouncy, optimistic attitude and put entirely too much sugar in their coffee. They love to experiment with magic in their spare time, often with disastrous results, and are always looking for new guinea pigs – er, friends! Go-to order: medium mochaccino – and pass the sugar, please!
24, Demon. A new Crescent customer who works remotely. She’s cold and notorious for being a difficult customer – her orders are complex, and heaven forbid you misspell her unusual name on the cup. She always lingers for a long time to write something on her laptop… Go-to order: large half-caf no-whip iced vanilla latte with almond milk, an extra caramel flavour shot, and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top…got it?
WarningsCrescent Coffee is rated Older Teen (16+). It contains strong language, suggestive situations, and very brief mentions of alcohol.
