About

This retro-inspired 2D Action RPG might outright surprise you. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story.
CrossCode is all about how it plays! That's why there is a free Steam demo! Go give it a try!
Take the best out of two popular genres, find a good balance between them and make a great game. That’s what CrossCode does. And it works pretty well. You get the puzzles of Zelda-esque dungeons and are rewarded with the great variety of equipment you know and love from RPGs. During the fast-paced battles you will use the tools you find on your journey to reveal and exploit the enemies' weaknesses and at the same time will be able to choose equipment and skills for a more in-depth approach in fighting your enemies.
Check the Reviews to see who loves the game. We're sure you will, too!

CrossCode reviews and comments

Early Access Review Soo I now have 2 Hours around after I bought the Game with a lot of Skepticism. I didn't want to buy it in the first place because it wasn't "quite finished" or seems "unbalanced ..." Or because a lot of things are sold "inconclusively" and then I dared the Click and GOT it after seeing some BILDER and VIDEOS. I know.. The Guy has played just 2 Hours and wants to evaluate it right away?! .. Yes! Absolutely Yes! This Game is worth every Penny and I think you should support the Developers in such a SUPER Game! And now we come to the Game itself after a long Slime track and what I realized in the 2 Hours! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Spelling and the Explanations brought me the feeling of SOA (Swort Art Online (an Anime)) with Elements from Games such as Secret of Mana (SNES). After I managed to complete the Tutorial And everything that goes with it, I started to get the whole INHALTLICH a little closer and had to prove that it was simply VERY GOOD convincing! + + + Receiving and very well done Tutorial!!! + + + Good Beginner Quest's + + + To everything a simple and coherent Explanation + + + Retro Feeling through the Spelling and the Build-up and everything that surrounds you! + + + Lovingly And fun designed Environment! + + + Make crazy Fun with Gamepad (back to Feeling!) + + + No simple Mobs/Bosses! (You have to!!!! with Tactics) + + + Money and level system raises morale (buy, improve, notice the Difference!)---mobs can partly pass out far too hard and seem very heavy (if you fight blunt and don't run at levels and Fights with Consideration---The Control is very high at first Overused when trying to apply everything learned---bosses demotivate vll. Because they are sometimes very very ... Very tough! (Some People may then rate it negatively because they either blow blunt on it and die or don't continue playing! But all are feasible if you allow yourself time!) -Collecting Stump Of Loot without noticing it (because it's just "Garbage" that is possibly needed for ne Quest anyway), because it can be taken anyway-The green-haired type annoys! ALL IN ALLEM I would say that the Game WILL please EVERYONE, who likes to play Such a way as SOM SOE Terranigma IOT etc. and vll wants to infer a little into the SOA feeling:-) A purchase of this Game is ABSOLUT EMPFEHLENSWERT!!! (I know I have a Bang XD)
