Embark on a thrilling adventure through a mesmerising world of danger and excitement with Crystal Quest, the captivating 2D pixel game that will keep you hooked for hours! 

In Crystal Quest, players control the main character as they navigate through various levels and overcome obstacles to collect crystals and defeat enemies. The game mechanics include basic platformer mechanics, such as moving up, down, left or right and also includes turn based combat to destroy the eneimes. As the player progresses through the game, they encounter increasingly difficult challenges and gain access to new weapons and power-ups to aid them on their journey. The game also features boss battles at the end of each level, where players must use their skills and weapons to defeat a powerful enemy.

The game was coded and written all by myself except some of the assets. Some of them were received from Itch.io while others from the wold wide web.

Tips and Tricks

Save your power-ups for tough battles - don't waste your power-ups on easy enemies, save them for boss battles or other tough challenges.

Use your environment to your advantage - sometimes you can use the environment to your advantage, such as bouncing off walls to reach high platforms.

Keep an eye out for hidden secrets - there are often hidden areas in each level that contain bonus crystals or power-ups.

Practice makes perfect - don't get discouraged if you don't succeed on your first try, practice and persistence will help you master the game.
