Crystalline Guard
About
NOTE: If you can, please download and play the windows build. It's more stable and has less bugs compared to the browser build. Thanks! :)
You were just spelunking underground as you usually do, when you suddenly fall down into a deep cave and find the shiniest crystal you've ever laid your eyes on. Unfortunately this crystal is cursed! Whoever finds this crystal will suffer an endless wave of enemies, don't let the crystal break, your life is at stake! It will be hard, but you must defend the crystal and become the CRYSTALLINE GUARD.
~~ GLITCH GUN ~~Luckily you brought your trusty GLITCH GUN with you on this journey.
This gun will fire a purple orb at your mouse cursor. Any enemy that happens to get hit by this will have their AI altered!
Red enemies will become blue, blue becomes green, green becomes yellow and yellow becomes red.
WASD / Arrow Keys = Move.
Mouse = Aim the GLITCH GUN.
Left Mouse Button = Shoot (Hold to charge for a BIG SHOT)
ESC = Pause game.
Enter = Proceed in the tutorial.
Altering the enemies' AI is cool and all, but that alone doesn't kill them, so in order to defeat your foes, you must take advantadge of the fact that they can harm eachother. Yes that's right! Aling the enemies in smart ways to take them all down. This way you are, in a way, Collaborating with the AI of the enemies to win!
You can also shoot the enemies down into pits to defeat them (unless they can fly).
~~ ENEMY EXPLANATIONS ~~Below is a brief explanation of what each enemy will do when they are tasked to kill you and/or the crystal.
Redy will move towards their target and then proceed to slash with a sword in a wide arc.
Squire Blue will move towards their target and then dash straight into the target with a long lance.
Green Batsy will fly over gaps and shoot projectiles at their target.
Yellow Fellow will sprint quickly towards their target and then explode in a quite large area.
