Cubelings

Introduction

Cubelings is a puzzle game made by one person, for the Brackeys Game Jam 2021.1 with the theme STRONGER TOGETHER, the game uses the theme in how these Cubelings creatures have different abilities which needs to be used together. But also that the Cubelings can mount/stack on top of each other to reach higher. Therefore being stronger together. 

Controls

WASD or ARROW KEYS to move and jump. E to mount on to other Cubelings, Q to demount the top Cubeling in a stack. R to restart the level. ESCAPE to quit to the main menu.

Visuals

All the sprites was made by me during the jam in Adobe Photoshop. Using primarily colors inspired by the Zenpaint Palette. Shaders/effects are either animated or using All In 1 Shader Pack.

Sound

The music was made on a electric piano, during the jam. The sound effects are free to use and was edited in Audacity during the jam.

Notes

All levels are automatically unlocked from the start and can be accessed from the level select menu, so if you get stuck you can always skip levels.

If you have trouble seeing the whole level, try full screening the window (often F11).
