CUPID - A free to play Visual Novel

Hard for me to recommend this game. Who is not. The choices are rare, which reinforces the idea of Visual novel, certainly, but that makes a good book regret. With a book, one does not spoil the view on a screen. Even if they exist, I doubt that the choices have a real impact on the unfolding of history. The nature of the possible endings abounds in this sense, much like in Oxenfree, the ends tell you how you played and gives you a qualifier for that. The table is already not very shiny but I must add that I am not at all sensitive to the manga style of the game. I'm talking about the style of the drawings. It doesn't help me to be forgiving. In addition, objectively, the decorations are empty, the trait so simple that it looks like a child produced it. Only the faces have benefited from a little talent. As for history, it is basic and the scarcity of choices aggravates this finding. The impression of reading a text, admittedly very well written, of youth literature. I am also very surprised to read the dithyrambic evaluations and even more the mentions "dark" or "Gothic" or those referring to "public masture" (for nudity or... unhealthy?). Maybe I missed something? I get out of Cupid very frustrated for these reasons and the gratuity does not count in my eyes. I can only recommend this painful reading to those who have two hours to kill.

Cupid is a "Visual novel", in other words a kind of graphic novel with some choices to make, the game is in English and requires a certain level of language to be understood. It embodies the mother, imaginary or not, of the heroine, who speaks to her (evil) in her thoughts. Schyzophrénie, magic, or something else, yours to see. I forced myself to finish the game for the first time, then to discover another end by skiing the dialogues already seen in the first Playthrough. Count 2H and a few for the first part, and a big half hour for the following. +: it's free. and fortunately, I would have hated paying would be what a euro for this "game". 2H for a Playthrough, which allows to go to the end of the story before dying of boredom. -: little graphics, very few characters. unnecessarily talkative and boring. rare choices, and of which one hardly at the moment to grasp the possible consequences. even replaying a second time, and making radically different choices, the text and the unrolled history change only for the last chapter (the end). 2H for a Playthrough, not really enough to make an interesting story. put an adult filter when there is frankly not much, and that history has almost no interest outside of the few pages of texts (no, do not dream, there is no hentai graphics or anything that will dull the pig that is in you) Decr a "hot" scene but the capital for the understanding of the hstoire, one wonders why to do. In short, simply without interest, I lost 3 hours of my life and I lose 10 more minutes to save those who like me were attracted by the dythirambiques evaluations on this game. If you want a real good visual novel, with beautiful graphics, a nice lifespan, humor (and even a little Q for amateurs) and choices that we understand the ins and outs, go instead look at the side of my evaluation of everlasting Summ ER which is free too, but O how much higher.
