Curse of Valhalla

Valhalla – the highest honor for any true warrior slain in battle. 

You are such a warrior, having ascended to the Great Hall after being killed in battle. 

But upon arrival, you discover the reality is much more sinister. You are locked into eternal, brutal combat with other great warriors for the amusement of the Gods. 

Should you fall, you will be revived again and thrust into battle for as long as it pleases your masters. Should you beat the best and bore the Gods, the curse is lifted.

Your choice in life was violence; in the afterlife, it is your sentence.
