Cursed Casino

Play as a robber who enters a casino only to be cursed by a set of dice! Collect coins while trying to avoid deadly poker chips the casino throws out you. Rolling those dice will lower the number of poker chips, but beware, as there's no telling what the dice will roll...

Important Mechanics:

• collect as many coins as possible
• when all coins are collected, go to the other hallway to go to next room
• poker chips will fly at you and you will take damage if hit; number of poker chips increases as the danger meter rises
• rolling dice will reset danger meter, but you will also have to deal with the roll of the dice

Controls:

• wasd/arrows: movement
• f: collect coins
• r: roll dice
• q: quit to title

Dice outcomes:

This was made for the GMTK 2022 game jam.

Theme: Roll of the Dice

This is my first game jam game (and first real game). I made this entirely using Processing 2.2.1, so I had to make almost everything in the game from scratch. I apologize for the lack of sound, I couldn't figure out how to add it to the game (especially on my old computer).
