Daddy reviews and comments

"Daddy" is a Small horror-survival with a first-person view. We have to save dad and get him out of the House of the vile kidnapper. We're playing for a guy with diabetes who's kidnapped his father. We have to search the house, find the father, release him from the cage and bring him to the street. Thus it is necessary to pick up and use things. For example, you need to find the keys to unlock the colored locks, scrap to break the nailed boards, the gun to stop for the time of the kidnapper. Only one item can be Worn at a time. Since the guy has diabetes, we'll have to have a snacking on the road all the time. We Pick up food on the tables and constantly throw in the mouth. Otherwise, the poor guy gets dark in the eyes. The Kidnapper is not very clever, but he can seize you if he sees. To avoid this, you can hide in closets, chests or barrels, but even if it catches you, it does not select the object in the hands. He just takes you to the first room with which the game began. The House is small. Getting to the right place will be easy. The Game is short and easy, passes quite quickly. There are some non-critical bugs with textures and animations, sometimes the main character ceases to eat food. For the passage we get 4 easy achievements. A Fun game. The animation of the dancing daddy, liked the house and simple tasks with the search/use of items. It is a Pity that there is no multiplayer. If a man played for the kidnapper, it would be more difficult and interesting to pass "Daddy". You can read other reviews and subscribe to our curators. Welcome! 5 minutes of game

I had to miss something when I played this game. The developer also, when he was coding. Daddy, released in 2018, is a "horror" game, where one embodies a child, who tries to release his father from the House of an old alcoholic lumberjack, and most likely drugged. I warn you right away, it's a failure. The game is not polished, you feel that something is missing. Already, the controls are not explained elsewhere than on the page of the steam store. At least there is only where I found them. One can therefore move forward, run, catch/Lacher/use objects. No possibility to squat, so the fact "to escape" the false father is immediately less interesting. We just spend our time attracting him to a place, and going through a crossroad, instead of going into stealth mode throughout the House. In addition, the false father is completely bogged. He will see you when you are not visible, and sometimes you miss him, and nothing will happen. The goal is to free our real father, and for that, we will have to find items in order to progress in the House. Note also that if the false father catches you, it has no consequence. No reset of items, penalties, etc... Just a resappariton in the starting room. The game also has a feature as intriguing as useless. The screen darkens, for no apparent reason. And I reassure you, it's not practical. The displacements are infamous, I do not know what the dev wanted to do, but it's failed. The game ends in 15-30min, with a 100% to the key quite simple. Besides the gameplay bugs, there are also a lot of texture bugs, when they don't just disappear. However, the graphic style of the game is frankly cool. In Team Fortress 2 style N.B.: note that the game is still followed by the dev. So maybe he'll finish it and add some content? Conclusion: Although the concept is not original, the game could have been very good, had it not been sloppy? ____ If you have found this evaluation useful, come join our curation page!
