Dandara reviews

The movement is pretty successful frankly, but the world is way too large and there is way too much focus on combat. Maybe I'll come back to this later but time between upgrades feels like ages and almost entirely for padding out the game length.

Short Description A completely unusual Method of movement Makes #Dandara a very special Game of its Kind. Music & Sound Effects are in Tune with the Game world and the Protagonist has her own Charm. What seems complicated to us at the Beginning becomes all the more ingenious as we go along. Review #Dandara is a Game that belongs in the Category of The Jump and run, but is at the same time completely unusual in its Mode Of transport for its Genre. Instead of running, crawling and jumping, Porten is brought closer to us in this Game. In specially marked Places you can pin with a Dash. Gravity is completely ignored. Thus, the Character sometimes stands upside down or sideways on the Walls. When Entering a new Room, even the whole Screen spins with you every now and then-depending on where you come from. Admittedly, in the Beginning this Method of movement took a lot of getting used to. By Rotating the Map, I didn't just lose my Bearings once. And yet: This Idea and its Implementation have been more And more fun for me in the course Of the game. This Style was just so alien to me at the Time, but refreshing and inspiring in its Own way at the same time. I can't remember the last Time a Controller fascinated me so much. The further Gameplay is characterized by Attacking Enemies and Exploring the Map. You can Attack by holding down the Attack button and releasing it after charging. In doing so, you shoot with several luminous Arrows. Accompanied by cool Sound effects and music that fits the Game as well as it has always been preordained for #Dandara, fighting is even more Fun. The Opponents themselves are made cool. Especially towards the End, they become very demanding. This makes it all the More important to Collect new Items or Techniques. Because there Are no different levels of Difficulty in #Dandara. Searching and exploring is a big Part of the Game. Not too rarely did I move in Circles at the Beginning. As mentioned above, it's easy to get lost in the Game despite a Card. But this has to be found first. And that makes it amusing at the same time. It is not difficult to find. You practically run into her Arms. Meanwhile, the Developers have also released a Patch in which it is easier to assign where you are roughly in a Room. The Story and its Graphics are made sweet. The Protagonist, in particular, looks really funny with her Afro. Yes, I confess it. I have laughed often because of her Appearance. But also just because #Dandara just looks so charming and cool. It was clear to me right at the Beginning that I'm going to totally like this Character. And in fact, it has stayed that way until the End of the Game. The Story didn't Shake me. I wasn't totally involved, even mega curious about what happens next. To Me, the Story seemed like a Fairy Tale that relaxes me reading. Conclusion Would a second Part of #Dandara get out, I would be the First to buy it.

The game is well, coherent and poetic extended universe but I find that the mode of displacement greatly limits the possibilities of the player and I do not like to limit my mobility possibilities. I know it's the whole salt of the game but at times it makes it crazy. But thanks anyway

A bigger game that makes itself at home on mobiles. But is excellent to play in short moments. The Controls have so good precision that you are faster with the touch screen than with joysticks. Impressive, I have to say! As for story and gameplay, it competes well with them better by the Metroidvania games on the market. (On all consoles)

Don’t got time to write a long review right now. But I can say this. This is hands down the most compatible game I ever played for the Ipad. The clear cut movement this games holds makes for a thight actionpacked experience. Other that that It is a wonderful game in itself that let the players discover its world in their own pace without pointing any fingers. Thanks for making this game.

What is the point of this. There you have always more heart, but for that also come against which they consume several hearts with a hit. Do I have to understand such a logic? and always this new start from the camp annoys and nevts. And then the painstakingly collected points are gone and you have to go again under the long long bouncy path to get to the point where you died. You won't get your points back until then. However, I have already noticed that this is not always the case. I don't have to understand this logic either AND no hints of how to continue in this Labyrinth. After all, it is not a bad idea, but if it were not for this eternal hopping, because the camps are so far away. oh man oh man, but quite a few euros spent on a great game, but with a lot of deficient things that frustrate me, do not motivate and annoy me. I want my fun playing!!!! Too bad a shame. I can't really recommend this app. Unless you're a player who needs challenges and hangs out on the ipad for hours. Not me. And the bad thing is, as a customer you don't get any feedback on the criticism. No more, the wishes are somehow implemented in the game. Money gone, frust stays!!!
Never seen it before the release, so it turned out a pleasant surprise. I love Metroid style games, but this one goes beyond and brings a whole new level of experience, there’s no top and no bottom, it plays really cool on a Switch. A perfect game to play on your way to work!
The retro style and the movement mechanic can entertain you for an hour or so, but then it gets boring. The story is rubbish, the level design and the bosses are unimaginative, the enemies are cheap. I have no idea why it's praised so much, everything in the game seems borrowed from other games and it isn’t even done well!
