Havertou’s Surveillance Taskforce works hard to oversee the growing population of enhanced beings on the island, and both protect their ordinary human citizens from them, and them from the backlash of hateful humans. 

Their jobs have always been a challenge, but it’s grown more difficult as factions formed in the population of the self-titled Divinus. 

Initially, there was only one division among the Divinus - their pledge for power, their spectrum of abilities between light and shadow. 

But now there is the Legion of Power, the Equilibrium, and all those in between.

The Legion of Power is a radical group of Divinus known for collecting others of their own kind wherever they happen to find them.  Most violent Divinus the Taskforce faces come from this faction. 

The Equilibrium is the self-proclaimed government amongst the Divinus, recording the presence and pledges of any Divinus that comes to the surface. They don’t often interact with the Taskforce, but it’s said that they are pleasant when they do.

Those not aligned with the previous factions are often found traveling alone.
