Darkestville Castle reviews

Beautiful Little Point & Click Adventure. But the Puzzles are sometimes a bit tricky and I often had to look into the Complete Solution that exists in The CommunityHub under Guides. The Story is entertaining, partly wittily written and also has a few Hints (which I don't reveal because of Spoilers-only one thing: The Credits had me;)), but makes it miss a little bit of Depth here and there. But the Game world is nice and harmonious and so it's quite Fun to play through it to the End, which I did right in one Go. Those who love this Genre can access without hesitation, otherwise maybe wait for a Sale.

Wow!!!!! I'm not through it yet, but I REALLY! VERY beautiful Point & Click that is definitely reminiscent of Monkey Island (by music alone) ... The Direction and the Fact that you play a "supposedly evil" character, I personally like it even better (No, I'm NOT too young, I started Maniac Mansion!). I think The English Language output was very successful, but a little more "Variation" in the Answers when trying would have been nice. But all right, the Humour and The Dialogues are GENAU my Thing. Even with the Puzzles I have not had any longer hangers until now, when you look at the objects, listen to the Dialogues correctly and maybe a BISSCHEN sets the Brain in Motion, I think it's pretty good to solve, most Of it I found conclusive And there is not SO much objects It would be UNMÖGLICH to try it ... The "Hellgate" I found a bit annoying but good, it was solvable ... Since I got the Game in the Sale, Darkestville Castle is a little Guess for me that I REALLY enjoy and I personally find Cid more believable and sympathetic than many other Point & Click characters ... I'd need more of games like That, then I'd also gamble more again ...

Darkestville has become a really nice Point and Click adventure. If you are looking for a funny Point and Click, you can recommend Darkestville Castle. The Negative Things: What really missed for me most, then it was lines of Dialogue when trying out. If something doesn't go, then the same Lines are always used, which takes a bit of the Desire to try it out and the Puzzles sometimes have some abstract Solutions. This is especially unfortunate because you should at least shake everything, because there are always items that you would not simply try To plug in at first Glance. Pros: Story consists of three Acts and sufficient as a Hanger. I liked the Idea of making the supposed evil Demon the main Character. I really liked graphic Style. Hotspot help ensures that you don't overlook anything. Humour is a Matter of Taste. For me, no giant Howlers, but a lot to Smile about. Verdict: I had my Fun with the Game. I would recommend it to anyone who wants more Point and Click Food. Because of some Puzzles, though, I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. Moreover, it will probably not remain in My mind in the long term like a "Paradigm," because the very special Ideas and Moments are missing here.
