Darkness (enegames)

A short interactive parable about finding light in the darkness.

This was an experimental piece for the Elm Narrative Engine to make it look similar to a Twine game.  Unlike Twine, you can click the links at different times and different things will happen.  The discovered links for the current scene show up at the top of the page for your convenience.  One play-tester described this as "collecting reusable links." 

The story has a few alternate paths and endings and seamlessly loops back on itself in an infinite cycle.

I entered it into Spring Thing 2019 and won "Most uplifting."  I wrote a postmortem about the experience.
