About

The player assumes the role of a dangerous and powerful girl known as SCP-029. After a facility wide power outage occurs, numerous SCPs breach containment and proceed to wreak havoc throughout the facility. SCP-029 must use her mind-controlling powers to survive and find a way to escape from the facility.

We wanted to incorporate some of the SCP favorites like SCP-173 and SCP-106. To that end we opted to set "Daughter of Shadows" in the same facility as "SCP: Containment Breach." Beyond the physical location of the facility and a few SCPs, "Daughter of Shadows" is designed to be an entirely new experience. Most of the emphasis is on the introduction and discovery of new SCPs.

Daughter of Shadows: An SCP Breach Event reviews and comments

At least it's cheap
Translated by

[DATA EXPUNGED] Daughter of shadows: an SCP breach event puts us in the skin of SCP-029, alias █ █ █ █ █ █ █. Keter class, that is to say hostile against humanity with a tendency to try to escape from its containment Chamber, you must escape from the complex where you are locked, using all the resources to your provisions: agent of the sex SCP masculine that you can bend to your will, improved endurance provided you stay out of the light and the different PCs lying in the complex. Of course, you will need to find yourself in a maze of doors and corridors before finding the exit. Addendum: game for fan the game itself is interesting only because it is a game inspired by SCPFoundation, a community writing site sharing a common universe, that of SCPs. If you don't know, just know that the SCP Foundation was created to confine objects or entities to the borderline of the paranormal, with strange and inexplicable abilities or properties. And if SCP: containment breach (another fan game around the universe) puts us in the shoes of a class D staff (who are used to experiment with the different properties of SCPs), this game puts us in the shoes of one of these strange entities. And not just any, since this is one of the most interesting, with a pretty big mystery around. The young lady seems to be the mistress of a cult that she manipulates through hypnotic powers, and with homicidal tendencies and great resistance to pain. Let's face it, when one is like me a fan of this universe, games such as DoS: an SCP breach event is a regatta... or almost. SCP-??? : the pixel Monster yes because, if the game is a fan game, it also implies that it is not totally clean, far from it. The characters are usually so pixilated that it is hard to see really who is who, and only our gray outfit and the camera centered on our character allows us to differentiate ourselves from the rest. The music and sounds are quite some, not offering a real supplement. Sometimes these are even annoying, as when a possessed agent attacks a female agent, the only way to defend against it. The two cries mixed repeatedly made me jump, to the point of hesitating to throw one of my disciples to the assault. The gameplay is all that is most standard: we walk the halls, we open computers, we grab PCs, etc. The really interesting part is the influence of PCs during the game: SCP-173 and SCP-106 will try to steer you off the road on many occasions, to you to avoid falling into their claw, while SCP-005 allows you to escape quickly or to explore the nooks of the complex. That's why, in my opinion, this game is aimed at fans of the universe more than other players. In summary: Note: 5/10 the more: the universe is well treated, we spend a good time with this game when we are a savvy fan of the SCP universe. The less: the gameplay is repetitive, the graphics are not terrible and the soundtrack is far from indispensable to the smooth running of the game.
