I have long kept this game in my wishlist, waiting for a French version or a price drop. I just cracked and I do not regret it! This game is beautifully done. What a pleasure to play with a little gem like that. Too bad it's not in French of course, but the tutorial is good, and we understand the rules well. There is a little Agricola and caylus in a beautiful medieval atmosphere. It changes adaptations like San Juan, the haven or Tikal, which are so ugly and poorly realized that they spoil the image of these good games of trays....

In the Beginning I thought it was going to be boring very quickly, but far from it! For about 2 Years I have HAD LOW now and I play practically every Day one or two Rounds in between. The Game gives many Ways to clock and intrigue against the Opponents. It also has a beautiful Graphics and is easy to use. And very important: The Costs are absolutely manageable. I think it was about €20 with all the Add-ons. And that's for years of Pleasure. However, AI has not been a Challenge for a long time; Unfortunately. I mainly chase my own Records, my best Result was 285 Points. I've never tried The online mode before. What would be nice, would be new Quests or a new extension and a better AI of course, which, for example, tries to build more and above all the really good buildings and plays the intrigue cards in Waterdeep Harbour more intelligently. Nevertheless, the Game is pointed!

While I appreciate the update to 64-bit so that the game will work on iOS 11, the rest of the changes in the new version makes it so much worse for those of us who play on phone (especially using SE like me). The text seems tinier, the buttons are harder to hit, the pseudo-3D zoom is shaky and moves stuff around, and the excellent portrait layout is replaced with a cramped landscape layout that makes it impossible to play one handed. Don't get me wrong the game is still good, it's just so much worse in almost all usability aspects it's hard to understand how anyone could thing it's an improvement. Lowered from 5 to 3 stars, hope to see some of these "improvements" reverted in a future version. Original review below: Great implementation of an excellent game Even on an iPhone I found this game very enjoyable (make sure to use the zoom though), which is quite an achievement for a board game that in its physical form requires an extra large table. Good AI that makes offline play interesting as well. Would love having access to the expansion, but I'm sure that will come.
