This game is cute. I love the art style and its humor. You are an assistant of the grim reaper and you have to kill of as many people as possible. Would not recommend the Switch version though. Every other minute, the game would freeze for a while then resume, which can be very annoying

♪ Always look on the bright side of death!
Just before you draw your terminal breath. ♫ Death coming is a little puzzle game ideal to break the routine between two big games. Need to blow next to the nervous games, fast, where it shoots and explodes everywhere and where you have to kill everyone?
Death coming offers you calmly and methodically of... Kill... Everybody. Well, that doesn't change.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1679620416 to take the context of the game, Yes, you're dead. At the beginning, it is not clear how (but it is learned at the end of the game) but this is not very important. The important thing being that, lucky, and we do not know why either, the great Reaper proposes to do her job and to mow to tire-larigot, because.... lucky? (No that also teaches it at the end of the game) The only shadow on the Board is to respect free will. You can't take ownership of people or force them to do something. But as we can push/break a little everything and anything, nothing prevents us from making everything collapse on people going quietly to their occupations... which makes this limit of free will somewhat enormously... unimportant.
The goal of the game is therefore very simple: kill all the people present in the level. Each person will follow his little routine, and there are several opportunities on their paths to end their lives prematurely. Most of these opportunities can only be tried a limited number of times. And as people often borrow the same paths, we will need a little planning to succeed in killing everyone with the number and disposition of "traps" in the level. "Traps" that it will be necessary to identify oneself to use them. Fortunately, there is no need to kill everyone to pass the level and move on to the next. There are, by level, a number of casualties to obtain the bronze medal, another for the silver medal, and for the gold medal only one must leave no survivors. But as soon as we reach the bronze medal we can move on to the next level.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1679620859 in the 6 acts (levels) of the game, so we need to find and use the traps at the right time to kill as many people as possible. But the more we kill the people, the more the special Brigade of the angels will land. And if we select a trap in their field of vision, one of our hearts will go away. Once we lose all three, it's a failure and we have to start the level again from the beginning.
In each level, there are 3 "target" characters that often require special set-up to end their lives. Because in addition to the "basic" means, it will take from time to time to combine certain interactions to arrive at our ends, as well as use to our advantage the weather changes.
Next to the 6 levels, there are two small, friendly bonus levels. As for the 7th Act, only the 8 target characters will have to be killed to succeed. Very nice to do also.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1683505306 the word master of the game is obviously humor, everything happens here on a slight note. The massacres are done in the tone of the laughter, just like the staged in the levels. When the characters are witnessing an "accident", they will freak out and save themselves elsewhere... before returning a few seconds later as if nothing was. It is not particularly useful to specify it, but the game does not take itself seriously, which makes it all the more fun. The pixelized graphics and sounds bring a cute side to the carnage, which is a great thing, right? ... Not?
Death coming is the kind of little game we throw to relax. You do not play to let off steam because here you have to think to be as effective as possible. However, it is not too much to dig your head either, it is rather a story of Scouting and organization in fact. We play it for fun and with pleasure. Cheap and deadly fun, this game will entertain you a few hours, I'm sure. I liked it very much, so I highly recommend it, but without forcing your agency.
