Death is Fare

You are a very low level adventurer, seeking fortune and fame. You come to an island rumored to have a very powerful boss with riches. Despite warnings, you embark regardless, only to find out that the island is cursed, and you're its next victim.

This is a Bitwiser submission for the 2021 IGDA game jam. Bitwiser is a team that consists of myself, Nathan Hillert or PoctorDepper, and my colleague, William Venables or PvPineapple. We had a good bit of fun with the jam, but overall it was pretty stressful. Both of us are quite weary and bleary eyed at the time of writing this.
