Just for diehard rogue like fans Deathstate Is not my Thing. This simple Fact isn't necessarily the Fault of the Game, though, but is much more because I can't really do anything with rogue likes. At least that Lesson I learned from my Encounter with the Shoot ' em Up. Purely artisanally, the Game is actually quite good, even if the audiovisual Presentation can't necessarily rip off the Stool. But at least the automatically aiming and shooting Continuous fire offers a fresh Approach. If part of the Rogue-like elements had been implemented as tangible RPG elements, I could have liked the Game really well. But as it is, Deathstate can unfortunately not give me any real Joy.
Pro and Kontra: Pro:-uncomplicated control-interesting car fire and Auto-target concept-original Setting Neutral:-Rogue-like elements-nice but ultimately unspectacular Pixel graphics Kontra:-Rogue-like Elements (subjective Opinion)-inconsequential Plot-the Soundtrack does not harmonize with the gameplay-poor Overview The full Review: http://www.gamecontrast.de/deathstate-abyssal-edition-review/#more-61918

Product received for free I do not really understand why I had never played this game so that it is typically what I like: the top down shooter well nag with objects to collect during runs to become even more powerful and Frac bigger creatures.
But unlike all its competitors, Deathstate makes a very daring bet, that of automatic shooting to the closest targets. Quite confusing at first, I ended up appreciating this choice as it allows to focus on Dodge, giving limits the impression of playing a shmup. Your character's Hitbox is really small and you will often have to pass through bullet curtains.
The ultra flashy DA stuffed with big pixels will not appeal to everyone, but gives the impression of traveling in strange and unknown worlds to the pursuit of Professor Elinberg.
Content level, it's just huge. You will recover from your progression the organs that you can place on your character to get a whole bunch of bonuses (weapon modifiers, extra shots, zone damage, lasers, companions, special powers, transformation of character into a different creature...). The impression of power is excellent and it is a real pleasure to progress in the different worlds.
As with most games of the genre, depending on your actions and your successes, new items will appear in your next game. Moreover, to vary the pleasures, you will ultimately have the choice between a dozen characters totally different from each other.
I really broke out on Deathstate and if like me you never tried it, fix this error quickly!
