The Time Robbery of this Game is greater than the actual Fun factor.
As a big TD Fan, I was hoping for from such a Game.
The Controls are too inaccurate, the Story boring and the multiplayer mode is dead.
But if you are just looking for a Game for a Pastime where you are not picky you can take a look at it.

A fairly mediocre TD game, with some fantasy elements where you not only have to stop the enemy waves, but have to send Units to the Enemy's Stronghold Yourself to destroy them. The Opponent, of course, also builds Towers.
A good Idea in itself, but the Animations of the Units are grotty, the Game is not very demanding on the most difficult Level.

I didn't really think the Game was bad now, for the short-term Time-killer the Game is fine. But so really no Joy comes up and the Fun of the Game does not last long, too monotonous The same procedure of Tower Construction, Rearmament and Units for the Counter-attack. A Lot of Tactics are not in demand once you have the Hang of it.
Especially diverse are the Dialogues, which not only have Many Allusions to Majesty and Majesty 2, but also take various Film Quotes on the Grain. The Graphics are quite colorful and are very reminiscent of Majesty 2, which as an Offshoot of this Game is not surprising.
Basically, I recommend the Game conditionally, you can do this Tower Defense Offshoot of Majesty 2 once. However, you should wait for a Steam sale when you get the Game with your DLC's at the Bargain Price. It's actually not worth the Full Price.

I should have read the Reviews beforehand ...
This is one of the worst TD Games I've ever had in front of me. The Graphics are at best at "Age of Empires 2" Level and would have been great 15 Years ago. But well, Graphics don't really Matter in TD Games.
Much worse is the Control via Keyboard and Mouse: Spongy, inaccurate, far too fast (even if I completely lower these Settings down to Zero. Most annoying, though, is that you can't zoom out nearly enough. This forces you to constantly scroll around on the Map, even with the small Entry-level maps. Where you can't actually call this "scroll," rather "jerking around on the Map."
But even if you are willing to accept all this, there remains no Strategy or Depth. Even the first Flash-TD's in 2006 had more to offer. It doesn't matter which Towers you build in which place. You don't even run out of money when you get stupid. On the Counter-attack, another "Window" opens in which one sends the Units off to the enemy Castle. When this is open, you can't do anything else, but you are forced to stay there and wait miserably until you can send more Units off again.
Conclusion: Content, Gameplay, UI and Graphics are simply a single Disaster. Even if it was Free2Play, I think it would only play Masochists.
