Demetria

Demetria is a game made in 48 hours for the Global Game Jam Sousse 2023.
It is a short 2D Metroidvania inspired by Hollow Knight, with a unique and mysterious story.
--How To Play--
You have to explore the map and unlock new pathways by interacting with altars which will reveal the story of Demetria.
The goal of the game is for Demetria, a mysterious creature to return to its origins, The tree of life, and save it from demise.
In this platformer, you can collect the essence dropped by enemies to heal yourself.
Controls:
A - D: to move left and right
SPACE: to jump
HOLD LEFT CONTROL: to heal
LEFT CLICK: to shoot
RIGHT CLICK: to use vine grapple
E: to interact
THE GAME HAS CONTROLLER SUPPORT


PS: there are some bugs in the game that we couldn't fix since we ran out of time. I will try to fix all the bugs in the near future, so any feedback is highly appreciated.
