Depth Hunter 2: Deep Dive
About
Depth Hunter 2 offers 25 exciting missions in 3 huge locations around the world. Players will hunt different fish species and face the difficulties of breath-holding spearfishing, an ancient fishing method.
Players will also have to find treasures and get the possibility to take underwater photos to capture the beauty of the simulated, detailed and lively underwater worlds they’re exploring also in a exploration mode.
Spearfishing and Underwater Hunting are ancient fishing and hunting methods, used to catch fish by using a mechanical harpoon. Today, spearfishing is a sports activity in many countries around the world, especially in the UK, around the Mediterranean Sea and in South America. Spearfishers hunt while diving apnea, holding their breath, so have to coordinate their energy carefully while monitoring their prey, especially in tactically challenging hunting situations.

This game sucks.
I finished it, I made the 100% (besides the last success where you have to play 24 hours underwater, I just turned the game by being occasionally next) so why I do not recommend this game? Because it is part of this category of game where you play and you try to finish everything (in success if you like it) but you do not know why you do it.
Already for starters, visually it's OK but without more, level of the gameplay is very basic, you can shoot only on the fish that are elligible to be captured and not the others. The oxygen system is binding at first but by force of recovering money this is no longer a concern. The missions you are given are hyper repetitive and look alike, the principle of taking pictures is interesting, only good point. Soundtrack level, I find the music too discreet and the sound effects are cheap.
What I dislike very much in this game is the fact that we capture all the fish with a Harpoon, even the smallest, it's like killing them and so it's like fishing while it sells more research and analysis of different species and also because it greatly restricts the gameplay, if there were several methods to capture the fish and just organize before going underwater, it would have given another dimension to the game.
In addition what is funny (or sad to you to see) is that the only info of underwater creatures, are during loading times (which are not many or long) while it should be part of the game, and that it would take a special section to read the s info relative to each species and even a dimension analysis of the species and retrieval of information on it, another thing that could have given more depth to the gameplay of the game.
In short this game is a big disappointment, it could have been good but in the end well lame. If you want to have fun doing the 100% I will advise you of other games because it is very heavy to do the 24 hours underwater (at regular eh, not by cheating).
