Design a Mars Rover

There is so much to find out about other planets and fitting all the necessary scientific instruments to gather information on other planets onto a Rover (a robot that goes to space) is a tricky challenge – play our game to design your own Rover. 

The aim of the game is to build a virtual model of a Space Rover for different missions – once you've completed your design watch them launch to Mars and drive them around the planet.

When designing a Rover engineers have to make tricky decisions about what to include as there is always a limited cost and, as the Rover has to be launched into space, there is a mass limit as well. Engineers have to collaborate to agree on what to include as well as work together to make all the components lighter and lower cost.
