My source? It was revealed to me in a dream. I have found what the people need and I shall provide it. "\o/"

Simply download and run the app and voilà, you now have everything you need in life.

Well damn, contact me with the bug! Make sure to include the OS you're using, what version of the app you are running and anything else you think might be interacting with it! (I have a help section setup in my discord!)

How do I get rid of them?

You don't. :)     (Taskmanager -> Plasma.exe -> kill  should do the trick)

Is it a virus?

No, it's not a virus. I'm just too lazy to go get an application certificate from Microsoft. Windows (if not all OSs) will always warn you when downloading and running stuff from the internet as it should do, therefore, don't go clicking and downloading random stuff from the internet. <3
