Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - VR Experience reviews

I love Deus Ex and have played through all the Parts so far, but I can't enjoy the VR Experience. For one thing, you have to drop off the Headset after launch to launch the App via a Pop-up screen on the Desktop. If you Look Around after Starting the App for The first time, it strikes you that the View is somehow strangely distorted. That's the Main Reason why this Experience is unplayable for me. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to get Around Via Teleportation. Too bad, because actually the Whole thing is a wonderful Idea! I hope it will be improved with a Patch.

Positive Features: Unbelievable! Deus Ex in VR!! Graphic close area very detailed Control of the Experience as usual with Touch Controllers Many different scenes are included free Negative Features: Extremely blurry and fuzzy Representation at a slightly further Distance Unfortunately only a Walking Simulato r without Interaction Possibilities I almost fell off the Stool when I saw the first Scenes. You stand live in the Middle of the Deus Ex Universe! For People who have used to see the normal Game on the Monitor before, it's incredibly breathtaking! Everything is like being close to Touching! Unfortunately, the whole Trip is over after just a few Minutes and you long for a full Game in VR mode! Due to the extreme Performance that VR requires, the Graphics naturally Had to be compromised. As soon as you look a little further into the Distance, the Image becomes extremely fuzzy and many Edges form. Nevertheless, it is free and really worth a Look!! I also included a Let's Play on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUlobIzJwFo

Phew... I really wanted to like the "Deus Ex Mankind Divided VR Experience": The Game is undeniably great, atmosphere, Story, Gameplay and sound design. Well and then there's that here: A Handful of Areas of Mankind Divided, poorly Ported for VR. Yes, it's really damn bad for VR ported, starting with the Proportions (I'm bigger than Adam Jensen at 1.91m, but not really bigger in the Game than the Boxes ...), the Movement in space and the Lighting effects that are unfortunately greatly exaggerated for VR from time to time . The Atmosphere is still really pointed and the Graphics are good. But then it stops ... Already when You start the "Game" you notice that People have given little Thought to the VR port: Instead of landing in VR directly in the "Game" when Starting in VR, a Menu opens up on the Desktop that I don't see in VR, really great! So Headset dropped off, the Menu closed and move on. After 0.1h, however, I saw everything: There is no Interaction, no NPCs and not much else. Even for a "Walking Simulator" the Whole thing is not good: You can move about running in Reality, but if the real Space is limited then you have to run over the left touch Pad, followed by an uneasy feeling, at worst even strong motion scickness. Alternative movement? Nope. Well, with more Maps and alternative Movement, the Whole thing would surely still be worth a Look.
