Sorry we ran out of time and the in-game instructions are unclear. The tutorial stages ("village") may not be intuitive.
Here we provide some additional instructions.
Just roll the dice even if you don't understand the wall of texts!
Hopefully you will understand it soon.
Dice Quest is a turn-based game. In every turn, you roll the dice to determine your action.
- Click to select dices for re-roll.
- No matter how many dices being chosen, 1 reroll chance will be used.
All dices have 6 faces. Each face are associated with a type ("image") and a number.
- Type: will be used for patterns (your special spells).
- Number: base attack of the dice.
Enemy rolls first then the player. After you are satisfied with your dices (or you have no rerolls), your action will be determined.
- Each dice can be used multiple times for different patterns. However, 1 pattern will only be checked once.
- Firstly, dices that triggers the spell will be used for an additional dice attack round.
- Then the spell will be casted (with basically no animation).
During combat, information of spells will be shown on the left of the screen.
- "oooo" means the pattern's shape. Dice "face" types are color-coded.
- Spell name. (absolutely no naming sense)
- Sum of all dices' attack within this spell (will be used for an additional attack round).
- Extra damage of the spell. Green = healing.
Water spells may freeze dices. Frozen dices cannot be rolled and its current value will be used.
Frozen dices will be shown with blue border.
