Disco Elysium: Final Cut reviews and comments
There's a lot to say about this game but I think the most important is that it is a work of art. Without a doubt, one of the best written games I've ever played. Period. I'm sure some would argue how much of a game it is because it is a more like an animated, chose your own adventure audiobook. Obviously you are controlling a character and running around but you aren't taking cover and getting into combat. The story is good and goes so many wild places and when you add onto that how crazy and goofy you can have your character act it just makes it better. There are some good roleplaying systems at play that allow for thoughts to be researched and unlock new dialogue choices or buffs. There is a TON of dialogue but everything is voice acted very well. If there was no VO I'm not sure this would work as well for me even though the writing is excellent but the VO really sells it. There are so many good characters and interactions throughout. Kim and Cuno are among the best. There is a lot of lore that be boring, lots of communist world building and revolution stuff but most of that you can skip without consequence. This is a murder mystery at its heart but it's so much deeper and take turns you won't see coming. There is some wild paranormal side stuff that is very interesting with some really good fan theories that are fun to read. What the devs achieved with this game is incredible. One of the best written and told stories that you help shape as you go through it. It is dense at times but it is worth it in my opinion and will give you around 40 hours for all the content.
«Can’t stop playing»
«Underrated»
It is one of the most significant role-play games in history. Like "Planescape: Torment".
If you can say that you love role-play games, you definitely have to try it.

Deux flics en manque de sex font un concours de bite à l’ombre d’un pendu et j’ai pas peur de dire que c’est le GOTY de son année
«Blew my mind»
«Underrated»
Disco Elysium is almost certainly the most artfully and thoughtfully written video game of all time. It’s the only video game I’ve ever played that has felt as emotionally and intellectually fulfilling as reading fine literature. It’s also an incredibly funny and likable and entertaining game. Imagine everything good about Moby Dick but actually fun to experience.
«Blew my mind»
Simply one of the best games ever made. The writing and world design is so rich and deep, and all the characters have so much FLAVOUR. The game's skill trees (!) have more interesting personalities than 90% of actual video game characters. Disco Elysium is by turns melancholic, horrifying, hilarious, uplifting, cathartic and soul-destroying. I've never really experienced anything quite like it. If I could only ever recommend a single game for the rest of my life, this would be it.

«That ending!»
