Discourse [PreAlpha || DEMO]
About
Welcome to the testing page!
My name is Vic Franco and I'm a Narrative and Game Designer from Granada, Spain.
Here I'll upload the current ~stable~ build of my personal project: Discourse.
Comments are welcome, as such as bug reports: feel free to talk about the game feel, refferences, aesthetics or just about performance issues. However, as long as the feedback is aimed for a critical role seeking real and argumented improvements :)
Note: Most of the 3D models are made by me -a narrative designer- and the remaining others, are from royalty-free web pages... So, keep in mind that they are, above all, just practical placeholders on a -kind of- greybox demo!
Now, let's play the thing!
Story background As a journalist, you made an appointment to interview a major witness of a political scandal that, two years ago, triggered a wave of suspicious suicides.But you fell asleep while waiting for the meeting in a motel room and now the phone wakes you up to end up discovering the witness didn't show up.It's time to figure what's going on... Main Goal
Retrieve what the witness has stored in the room's safe: It's the only way out.
Gameplay tipsThis is kind of "narrative-driven high-concept demo", so, as the story and the gameplay hints are imbued into the literary texts, I highly recommend to read them as calm as possible.
