Distant Star: Revenant Fleet reviews

Hello together, I bought this Game on Offer as the Developers wrote about Balancing in The last Update and at the Price I just got it. To cut it short, I played the Game in 19h on easily through. There were Challenges there and there, but with the "Tactical mode" the Game can be a lot of Fun and if just a Battle was to degenerate into the Negative, I saved and the Battlefield reset, unless you had completed all the tasks. I Started by Buying a "Dreadnought" that made the Start of the Game much easier. Otherwise, I chose my Route in the System in such a way that I could always get to all the Fields on a Train. I've always had enough "supplies" as a result, because many Fields have simply brought "Supplies" and "Credits." It should also be mentioned that I did not have a single "critical Damage" and daduch did not have to Repair either. The User Interface is very pleasant and I could take all the Information that led to a successful Strategy. The Graphics are also very appealing. The Identification of the Ships was good and realistic. The Sound was rather annoying, as the Ships of my opinion made too much Noise, so I turned off the Sound. I would also recommend this Game at full Price. Thank you to the Developers, a successful Game.

This is a Review of the Version 1.1.3. Distant Star: Revenant Fleet Is a Mix of different Game Mechanics, which makes me have the Appeal and makes it unique for me. Since it is so unique, it is difficult to put into one Category and to still be able to describe It, I resort to comparisons with other Games. At Its core, it's all about travelling from event to event with an in-compactive Fleet of a handful of ships, beating pausable Real-time tactical battles. The Skin Pspiel Mechanics of the pausable Real-time practice battles remind me of Aarklesh: Legacy, as well as individual Character Development. Other Influences come from FTL with the Rouge-like System and Jumping from one Event to another. The Setting and Graphics, especially the Colorful Backgrounds, remind me of Homeworld. With the Patch on 1.1.3 I think the Balancing has become very good and round, so I like to start a new Round again and play through with a different Fleet composition. For me, this small but fine In-play is a clear Buy recommendation. Summary in English: This Game is an unique mix of different game mechanics with a main focus on pausable realtime tatic battles. In my opinion in the version 1.1.3 the balancing is very good and i like to play several playthroughs with varying fleet constallations. Thumbs up and i can recommend a buy. PS: Maybe the developer can add a causal mode, where you can save and reload after an event?
