Dividing to 1

Try to divide a number into 1.

Use divisibility signs for numbers less than 10 (tap question mark in title for details).

• Divisibility by 2: the last digit to the right is an even number.
• Divisibility by 3: sum of digits is a number divisible by 3.
• Divisibility by 4: the last two digits to the right are 00 or a number divisible by 4 (ex: 72, 64, 32...).
• Divisibility by 5: the last digit on the right is 0 or 5.
• Divisibility by 6: the last digit on the right is an even number and the sum of the digits is a number divisible by 3.
• Divisibility by 7: subtract twice the rightmost digit from the number formed by the remaining digits, keep doing this until you get a number that is divisible by 7 (ex: 371 is 37−(1×2)=35; 3−(5×2)= −7).
• Divisibility by 8: the last three digits to the right are a number divisible by 8 (ex: 048, 192, 272...).
• Divisibility by 9: sum of digits is a number divisible by 9.
• Divisibility by 10: the last digit to the right is 0.
