Dizzyship

Dizzyship is a free-floating top-down game where you play as a spaceship that has been knocked into a constant spin. With only one thruster, you must navigate corridors and dodge dangerous space debris (like... mines).

I completed this game for the GMTK Game Jam 2020, which is the first game jam I've ever participated in. The theme for the jam was "out of control." Pretty satisfied with the results of this overall! Honestly, I was worried about completing something altogether.

There are five levels in total. The last is fairly difficult, be warned!

Press Z to move in the direction you're facing (Space also works).
Press X to dash, but keep an eye on the charge meter (Left shift also works).
Press R to restart the current level.
Press Escape to bring up the pause menu while you're in a level.
