Play as a pair of rival musicians in this two-player, story-driven adventure. Explore dungeons, solve puzzles and battle enemies in musical combat to escape a series of deadly nightmares.
Prototype StatusDouble-Edged Chord is a prototype game developed in two months to support my Master's thesis.
In progress towards a finished game future installments will be revamped to involve better pacing, more meaningful choices, character engagement, ludic depth and graphics. Also, bug fixes.
SetupAll core gameplay elements are tutorialized within the game. This Setup Tutorial may be helpful for players who are new to multiplayer games – or who would like a detailed account on installing and setting up the game.

Known IssuesThe online multiplayer can sometimes be unpredictable. For some players, it works smoothly; in other cases, it can break the game.
The game sometimes fails to save correctly. Please see the support section above to remedy this.
The UI can sometimes be off-kilter for different screen sizes.
In combat, the characters sometimes use an ability that does not correspond to the one players have chosen.

While major problems are rare, this interactive guide should aid you in overcoming most game-breaking bugs.
Minor Problems:If you encounter minor problems (e.g., game freezing, characters getting stuck)
opening and closing the game may help.
Trouble hosting/joining a GameMake sure you and your partner are connected to the same server region (ZA or EU) at the start of the game.

Try disabling your antivirus.
