Downbreak reviews and comments

Product received for free Downbreak is a deminer who has nothing to envy to this old, greyish and repetitive Windows game that we all played one day to the insue of a boss or a teacher. The independent studios Earrgames (creators of "into the gloom"), we went out of the attic to dust it and restore it with passion by giving it a second breath. If you always play solo, you feel less alone thanks to the leaderboard that allows us to see progress our score compared to players from around the world. We will also meet some characters... This puzzle game of yesteryear rather empty, sleek and austere has totally disappeared, giving way to a living game with notions of RPG, annimations and cinematics, all in a nice Visual reminiscent of the Dungeon-crawlers and endowed with a soundtrack catchy. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1407775913 where many have spent more time redoing and ragequit from jumping on a mine rather than seeing their little smiley face sunglasses; on Downbreak, even if the difficulty and the challenge are not diminished, the game proves more fun since it relies on new mechanics that change all the game. It is no longer necessarily necessary to unveil the entire grid and find the location of the mines without blowing the face, to win the level. Indeed, even if the basic principle remains unchanged, the gameplay has been revisited, the goal being to break crates to go down the table. Finding the exact location of the mines will be used to increase your score but at your peril... A combo system also helps to boost your points: the more you break crates at a fast and steady pace, the higher your score, the combination breaks if by bad luck you explode along the way. All this is explained to you from the beginning of the game in a pretty surprising tutorial... Past, intro cinematic and tutorial, the game starts in campaign mode, where you expect many levels, through castles, or rather towers in which you will have to descend a number of floors. Each of them has its own décor and sometimes traps. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1407775946 during your descent you will reap a number of gold coins, which will allow you to buy small bonus cards that will help you in your journey. You will also have the opportunity to test mini-games of all kinds that will give you or not the chance to win these same rewards. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1407776062 Downbreak does not stop there, there are also a lot of surprises to unlock such as classic modes, challenge, infinity and Visual themes. In the options, you have the choice to activate or not the mini games, but also to activate the graphic style that you like best: detailed and retro pixelized or classic and purified for better visual comfort. If a wind of nostalgia gives you the urge to retest an old classic, I can only advise you downbreak which is an excellent pastime.
