Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game reviews

A game of card combinations in the world of Harry Dresden pretty well screwed up. The tutorial is very well done (clear, fast, intuitive) and greatly helps to a very good grip of the game. 3 levels of difficulty are possible as well as a large choice of Heroes (with their associated deck) that allow good replayability. The game is of a correct difficulty (I found it less hard than expected personally). The images of the cards are very good qualities, which does not spoil anything). I recommend for fans of the genre.

On the Content of the Game: The Plots of the Dresden Files books have been translated into a sophisticated and detailed game of thought and cards. And that's been a great success. The Graphics are fantastic and the Maps are very, very cleverly designed in terms of content. The entire Presentation is an absolute Dream for every Dresden Files fan. Every little Detail matches the Descriptions in the Books. And yet the Cases in this Game take completely surprising Turns and are not so easy to solve. The Rules of the Game are light and catchy, the challenging Complexity of the Game comes from the Lyrics and Values on each card. To the App: The underlying Board Game has been converted to an App practically one on one. If you know the Board Game, you can start with the App right away. The App is clear and uncluttered, the Graphics are fantastically beautiful and in every Detail coherent with the Theme of the Game. A lot of emphasis has really been placed on the right Design here. The Background Music for each individual Case is individually tailored to the Theme of the Case! Here, too, attention has been paid To Details. So far, I have only tried the One-player version of the App, but I have done so extensively. It's obviously a huge Advantage if you don't have to worry about Compliance Rules as this takes over the App. And it does so reliably, too. In the One-player version of the App, it's a bit awkward that you can't see the outside Cards of the three Characters you play at the same time. In The Board game, these three Rows of Cards are in front of you, so you have a better Overview of all The cards and Possibilities. It is completely understandable that you can't implement this well in the App, because the Screen only offers a limited Space. However, this makes the One-player version of the App significantly more challenging than the One-player version of the Board game. My Conclusion about the App: Fantastically beautiful, full Of loving details and enormously high Replay value! And really a Challenge, because it is not so easy to solve a Case. :-)
