Accelerate/Brake/Reverse with WS keys; Steer with AD keys.  

Assignment: create a racing game where the player must race against time, AI opponents, or both.  Player must drift while avoiding enemies and obstacles in order to boost their max speed.  The Enemy AI is simply steering towards the next in a series of predefined Transforms, so don't count on them to screw up!
