About

"Dude, Stop" is a puzzle game, where the main goal is to not follow the rules and make everybody hate you. Break it, abuse it, skip the tutorial, ignore tips and tricks in the loading menu and - most importantly! - mute the narrator.
For example, stop reading this paragraph and skip to the next one. You're still reading. Still looking here. Annnd... done. You've broken your first rule and annoyed us a little bit. And didn't even buy the game yet! Wow, you're talented. Have you considered quitting your job and doing this fulltime?
Collect all rewards, unlock all achievements and brag to your buddies that you've enraged some poor developer from a video game and made him scream at you just like in the trailer. Do your best. Or worst. Or both at once.Key features:
Dive into countless puzzles carefully made by the developers. Some of them relatable, some of them not. Who cares, buy the damn game
Fully voiced narration of both good and bad solutions. You can ignore or mute it all you want, it's still there
All kinds of shiny rewards and achievements assembled by a hungry underpaid developer in a basement just so you can feel justified breaking another level and giggling for five seconds
Many moments where you will be saying "What?", "Why?" and "Preordering videogames is good". Just kidding, you will mostly be just clicking stuff and dragging and throwing it all over the screen
Self-aware humor that simply tries waaay too hard. This includes timeless references that only our weird programmer can understand. Like "42" and "You're gonna have a bad time". What a nerd, haha
unless you count them. Please don't count them

Dude, Stop reviews and comments

I stop here now and write the Review. Dude, Stop is a little Puzzle Game. It's about doing pretty everyday Things, preferably to the Satisfaction or Dissatisfaction of the Speaker. A small Story is told, but it has nothing to do with the Puzzles. The Story is pleasantly funny, but in my Opinion interrupts the Flow of The game here and there. In General, there should be an Attitude that you can skip the Speaker. The Game, by the way, is not in German. Graphically, the Game is lovingly designed, but rather pixel art. So you have To like it, but you can also see unchanged on the Screenshots. The Speaker is terrific and even so the Sound effects are apt, though not Spectacle fireworks. Nothing special, but nothing to run away from. That brings me to the Conclusion. I recommend the Game. It's Fun and it's funny. However, I think the Price is rather inappropriate. I know the Game is from two Developers, but I would never buy it for the Full Price. Even at the Offer Price, I was hurting and rightly so, in my Opinion. I don't want to say I regret buying, the Game just offers rather little for the Money. For People looking for a hardcore conundrum here, by the way, the Game is nothing. It entertains and is not really demanding.

1:Genre(2/5) I would fit this game into a puzzle-solving and story-oriented genre. However, it isn't very good at being either one of those. Getting the puzzles correct or incorrect is too easy to figure out (the game usually even points it out to you), and the "story" is weak, not even as funny as the trailer would suggest. This game would need it's own genre: Lets play, not especially fun to play, but probably fun to watch somebody rant about on youtube. 2:Gameplay(2/5) Well, like I said, to easy and no real replay value. The puzzles get boring after one time playing and long voicelines keep you waiting to finally do the task. The objective of the game seems to be, that you do everything wrong. But you don't have to. The game allows you to be a good tester too, which is probably a nice feature, but I didn't expect that you HAD to do some puzzles right in order to advance... 3:Story(2/5) There is a feature for which some of my friends would give it 10/5 for, but from the trailer I expected way more storywise. It is actually the highlight of the game, but other than that I find the guy shouting at you to be more annoying than funny. And the story would have had so much more potential. It was fun sometimes. 4:Playtime(1/5) One playthrough - about 3h; if you want to solve all the puzzles - about 6h. 12,99€ is way too expensive. 5:Graphics&Sound (3/5) Can't complain about the pixel art. They could have had a few more objects in each picture, to make it less bland. Sound was okay too. Overall: (2/5) It would be okay for a different price, as a gift or if you are <12 years old. It can be fun, but there are many better games than this one, in a similar style and genre.
