About

Etheria is under attack! Build mighty defenses to freeze, burn and disintegrate your foes -- then grab a sword and jump into the action! Level up a team of heroes, deck them out in loot, and destroy the hordes by yourself or in four-player online co-op!
Create a Team of Heroes
Wizards! Robots! Thieves! Recruit a cast of characters to join you on your quest to save Etheria. Each hero brings unique abilities and defenses to the battlefield. Swap between your heroes on the fly to use all of their tools -- even in combat!
Build Your Defenses
Construct a deadly grid of laser beams. Drown your foes in quicksand. Build a wall of flamethrowers and watch the world burn, you sicko. A wide variety of defenses are at your disposal, and you'll need them all to protect the Eternia Crystals from the Old Ones' army.
Shoot and Loot
Leap into battle and get your hands dirty! Grab a sword, a bow or a laser shotgun to blast through hordes of enemies. As you play, you'll find loot and Shards to equip and customize your heroes with. Just beware of the goblin blood. As much as you scrub, the smell never goes away.
See the Sights
In your journey, you'll visit ancient forests, massive castles, haunted temples, active volcanoes, and a surprisingly small number of dungeons for a game named Dungeon Defenders II.
Bring a Friend (or 3)!
Dungeons aren’t meant to be defended alone! Invite your friends to join you in Etheria for four-player online co-op.
More Updates on the Way!
As we did in Early Access, we're going to add more heroes, maps, loot and things to do, and we'll continue to listen to you about how to improve Dungeon Defenders II!

Dungeon Defenders II reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
Early Access Review Have now spent some Time in the Game, i.e. in the old Content Booth, as well as in the new "Endgame Content Patch." Many of the Reviews have given a "Thumbs down" for DD2 since the new Patch. Some because their long-awaited Wishes were not fulfilled, some were simply overwhelmed and others were knocked in front of their Heads again. Does this mean that DD2 is not worth playing, I say clearly NO TO you. The big "Cons" of the new Patch is really the great Content and the attendant consequences, all of which occur at once. A step-by-step "patch" would have been better here, The biggest Innovations are the SHARDS (Crystals that can be Upgraded to strengthen their Bonuses e.g. more Armor, less Cooldown on Skills, as well as Shards increase the Values of your Tower etc or give them Extensions ). Then the Ascencion Tree (Skillbaum), which offers even greater Variation to the skilling of the Tower or Character values, but you have to start it at 0 and level it up first. The last major Renewal is the Totems/Orbs/Relics, which are now equipment (4 in number) that can place their onto a Slot In the Equipment Window, which then, depending on which slot you have Placed on, one of your 4 Objectives (Wall and the 3 Tower Species). The Totems/Orbs/relics can also be reinforced with up to 3 Shards (Legendary Rarity of the Totems/Orbs/relics). Finally, the old Nightmare (NM) I-IV Mode (WHERE Gear was famed) was replaced by the new CHAOS I-V, which you now need to create to improve you and Your Objectives. Here it is not like in the old NM mode where you go directly TO CHAOS V and get your Gear directly. First, the Difficulty of this Mode would not allow this, since it is by far heavier than the old NM mode, besides, you would not get "a" BiS lot "(Best in Slot), since the System of" Drops "has been changed, you get Equipment the Level Of your Equipment. This means that the best way to match your Shards is in C1, as well as to make famous of your Gear in Cuted C2. Bring It to this Level and upgrade that you create C3 or that there will drop the correspondingly elevated Root. Last But not Least, a lot has been changed about the Interface, as well as their Settings and Executions, which may take getting used to. (For previous Players) FAZIT I recommend the Game in any case it is Fun and you don't have to expect to experience a World First Here that is Error-free. The new Patch broke with major Changeover. New Features and new Bugs that I think have experienced good Handling of the Developers so far, as they patch directly large Hotfixes a few Days after The patch was released and thus fixed the grossest and most important Bugs, the Developers are also on Community Requests received (I think I learned to do so). It's a lot of Fun and you can connect a good 2-4 Hours every Day without Boredom in the Game, it's best if you grab 3 other Steame friends and use them in the TeamSpeak (or other Vocie-chat) and play together like that, this really offers the big one Fun Factor, as well as clean Play. If you are a Fan of Tower Defense Games and are not averse to an extended modes, then look in and make an Impression on yourself, give the Game time and do not fail if it seems "heavy" at the Beginning, the Patience will be worthwhile.
