Dungeon Divers (WeRideForCoffee)

My entry into the NOKIA 3310 Game Jam... DUNGEON DIVERS!

Soon-to-be a mashup of Monster Maze with all of the annoying random encounters of any overland travel in an RPG ever, Dungeon Divers will let you slash, stab, dodge and block against a myriad of monsters as you plumb the depths of a seemingly straightforward dungeon .

Find and step down the staircase on each level to continue into the depths!

Sadly this is not yet complete, as I need to upload it NOW as I will not get home from work in time to get the game's combat mechanics in a playable form before the Jam ends in less than 16 hours.

Currently you can explore a basic but infinite dungeon to your hearts content, and the menu contains but a small sample of the retro musical goodness I've mashed together for this.

Since the game jam isn't ranked, I have no qualms what-so-ever updating this game with impunity, and you should definitely expect me to do so!

Check back in a few days, the dungeon might just not be the same dungeon you remember... and certainly not as safe.
