I really miss the game and was wondering if there would be a private server
I have a guild if you want to join, I Actively donate as much gold and minions as it lets me but would appreciate more members. The Guild is called "such Guild Much Power Wow"
I think as far as F2P games go, DKM is better than many out on the app market. Anyone else agree?
Hey all as the title says I'm looking to join a guild. I see the reddit one is full. But if anyone else has a guild I'm lvl 21, I'm not huge on attacking but enjoy slowly building my base. I'm happy to donate gold and troops and whilst I'm quiet I log in once or twice a day.
So, I've been playing for a few weeks now and I feel like I'm stuck trying to improve my dungeon. I'm rated at around 1550 Trophies and I just can't get any higher. Every time I successfully raid an enemy dungeon I then get raided by two more people for a net loss of trophies and resources. Does anyone have any tips or suggested layouts that make for a defensible dungeon? Does anyone have any tips for how to invade another player's dungeon? These are the things that I seem to find: 1) Although I can usually defend against the usual ghosts/warlock back door attempt, there's almost no way I can defend against an enemy Immortal. I can't take down either Tiny or Deegg before they get into my base, and once that happens there's a huge flood of trolls that I can't defend against. Most attempts on my dungeon with an immortal destroy my dungeon 100%. 2) When I invade an enemy dungeon, I can never 100% it. The only way I can win is to go straight for their dungeon heart, and so I usually win despite only doing 40% damage to their dungeon. I can only ever do this by sneaking ghosts into some undefended section of their base (usually disarming any anti-air trap they trigger) and then spawning warlocks to fire over a wall at their dungeon heart. If this doesn't work, I almost always lose, because if I try to spam lots of trolls/skeletons, they're destroyed by mortars and traps. For some reason my trolls and skeletons seem so, so much weaker than the ones that invade my dungeon despite me training them as much as possible :(I'm really getting frustrated and would really appreciate some help.
Since the first official Reddit guild is full, I put a little thought into how the best way to proceed with multiple guilds before starting a new one.Luckily, we have an established group on the Clash of Clans subreddit to borrow from. CoC is another fun game, btw, and much like GKM.Firstly, I believe it makes sense to keep the naming convention with the prefix of Reddit followed by either Greek alphabet, or military phoenetic, or whatever floats your boat. The prefix makes it easy for anyone to do a search in the game and see all the reddit clans/guilds. (Obviously the original "Reddit" guild is included as well.)Second, I think the rules used by the CoC guys are a good balance of maturity and freedom. We should just unashamedly copy and run with it.If we have consensus with the creator and mods of this fine forum, maybe we can begin a list of useful links, official guilds, and a wiki over to the right.Any thoughts or concerns?[edit to say:] there is nothing wrong with naming your guild whatever the hell you want, either. If you pony up the gems for it, it's your decision. But in keeping the spirit of a Reddit community in the game, it makes sense to have some sort of unity.
Reddit Alpha is accepting members! No requirements other than donate minions when you can, and try to help out with achievements.Post here or send a request in game to The Leper Colony.
I love Dungeon Keeper always will, I remember buying a which? type magazine that had demos of various games and stumbling across Dungeon Keeper demo. It was so intriguing and i had no idea what i was doing except making my imps dig out earth. Until one day i found a portal and i evolved from there! Bought the full game (well birthday present) and then in 1999 i got the second one. I remember being "that guy" and reading the manual in school, thinking what it would be like to use these new minions and rooms! But at the time my PC (from Tiny remember them?!) couldn't cope with the new Dungeon Keeper 2 game. The graphics were all yellow! virtually unplayable! i still powered through and enjoyed the game sounds as there was no other choice! Until my dad let my use his newer work laptop. I made the most of it and played it after school even the crummy multiplayer. All this while buzzing about the Dungeon Keeper 3 trailer (crazy isn't it) But yes we all know what happened. It was cancelled... But did you know EA sold the rights to China and China made a MMO.It took me ages to set up the alpha to give it a try, it was all in Chinese of course, it was so poor i mean what did i expect? The main thought of it was actually pretty good in a mmo sense. (You levelled your character after picking the good or evil faction and you gain exp and resources for you dungeon. then you go back to your dungeon and it turns to Dungeon Mode and it looks like Dungeon Keeper again. Basically it had a RTS pop feel as you build your dungeon people can invade etc) Sadly though the gameplay was so poor for example you had to run around kissing princesses to turn then to frogs. It became far too tongue in cheek. sadly they really could have done more and I'm pretty sure its been cancelled. If it was done right id have played it! One can dream though....
