Dustbowl

Yup Yup this game is really worth the candle, a free DLC is scheduled for this year, the story itself lasts well 15H. Replayability is nice and if you plan to explore everything, or you want to unlock the successes, you are going to spend even more time! I work on the Translation FR which at the time I write only counts me but is already at 20% so those who do not speak English should not take too long to enjoy:) The ambience is really rich, there are lots of details and Easter eggs, and for once the devs are really listening! If you like old-school games with a universe a little Stalker/fallout post-APO, it really is for you, I have hooked and I intend to redo it several times in order to take advantage of the additions of devs:)

Initially I wanted to wait for the translation en and then finalenement I let myself tempt, and I'm not disappointed, this RPG survivalist to the wasteland sauce is well taking. At first I did not understand how to go outside but once in the open, faced with mutating threats and other Raiders it would be like a point ' n ' click fallout. Pleasantly surprised, and then the quests are well brought, the script is effective and especially the thirst for exploration is quickly pressing, listen to your meter geger and made full of foods of all kinds, more or less drinkable drinks, Kit care, bandages, antibiotics, anticoagulant, poison, cutting pliers, etc. and obviously ammunition and various weapons and varied. Join the improvised cities and find places full of treasures but beware of random encounters!

Product received for free an old fashioned game, which reminds me of the first fallout! For:-a successful post-APO atmosphere. -Interesting and demanding game mechanics. Cons:-in English only. -The absence of a more detailed tutorial (I learned, recently, by one of the devs, that it is possible to kill the enemy in one shot, which I did not know completely, whereas yet it seems to me extremely important). -A UI that would have deserved, I find, better ergonomics (navigating the inventory is quite painful when you have a lot of objects). -A soundtrack that lacks punch. To conclude after + or-3h of game, Dustbowl is a game that appears to me to have undeniable qualities, but that will not appeal to everyone, the fault perhaps to a DA in pixel-art, which personally does not bother me, but especially to an uneven difficulty , which can very quickly confine to frustration, during random fights, so many of them can be too numerous and punitive, for my taste.
