Rate top games[3/10] I'll be honest with you—I got really frustrated playing Dustwind: Resistance. The game could've genuinely been an interesting indie title, and fixing just a few elements would have easily bumped its rating up by two or even three points. In that case, it would’ve been at least decent, and playing through it wouldn’t feel like such a chore. As it stands, the game is technically completable, but it’s riddled with frustrating bugs and off-putting mechanics.
Even with those bugs fixed, the game feels like an aesthetic step backward compared to its predecessor from seven years ago. I don’t know if a different team is behind this title or if it’s simply the result of laziness and a rush for quick profit. Either way, I can’t, in good conscience, recommend Dustwind: Resistance—at least not until the developers address the game’s many issues.
