What is This?

Dysphoria is a text based adventure game. The concept is simple. A message will appear. You will type something. That's it. 

The game will have you play a week in the life of Kate, a transgender woman. The purpose is for the player to gain new insights and perspectives into the life of transgender women around the world. This game is based entirely on both personal experiences and many real life stories.

The gameplay seeks to create an emotional experience for the user, told through a linear story spanning the course of 5 days, filled with as many experiences as possible. Everything from deadnaming, misgendering, dating, laser, school, parents, gatekeeping, harassment, coming out and hormones to surgery and everything in between is to be included.

How far along is development?

Day 1 is fully playable. Days two through five is still in development. Once they are complete the full game will cost money. For now you can play the first day for free! Feedback welcome.
