Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain reviews

I tried to play this multiple times but in the end just gave up on it. From past EDF games, this one definitely plays better and is also more difficult. I liked a lot of the variety you could have but found a lot of the battles tedious with how much you'd be knocked down. Several times I found the touchpad picking up my thumb while aiming and would get interrupted by and emote while playing. There is no way to disable this which is pretty frustrating as I ran into a similar problem with Outriders and Ghost of Tsushima. Mixed with how the game just wasn't that engaging I just decided to pass on finishing it.
